Locally distilled Bourbon from Locally grown grain. Traditionally aged in #4 Charred Barrels, Litchfield Distillery Batchers Bourbon Whiskey displays a beautiful amber color and releases wonderful vanilla and butterscotch notes. It has a smooth, balanced taste with a slightly peppery finish. The mash bill is 75% corn, 23% rye, and 2% barley. The two-step barreling process, which includes aging in 8-year cooperage, creates a complex yet smooth sipping spirit that also mixes extremely well with cocktails like Old-Fashioned’s. Connecticut is the home of Litchfield Distillery located in the NW part of the state. Their foray into exceptionally distilled spirits has just begun with handcrafted Spirits from the highest quality, regionally harvested grains and we expect to see more exciting things from them.
