The Muga Reserva Rioja is a blend of 70% Tempranillo with the last 30% being a makeup of Garnacha, Granciano and Mazuelo. The vines thrive in the calcareous clay soil while enjoying the influences of the Atlantic climate. The result of all these factors is a wine that is rich in cherry color and a bright nose. The aromas of black fruit with touches of cedar are the first characteristics to greet you. The mouth entry is peppered with spicy notes and hints of ripe, red fruit. The wonderful and well-intergrated acidity enhance the flavors and leas you into a lingering finish. This wine pairs well with any red meats, lamb and all kinds of game dishes.
