The classic original, Ballantine's Finest is a blended scotch of more than 40 malts and grains from 4 different iconic Scottish regions. Using the same recipe as the one used in 1910, quality can be found throughout the drinking experience: subtle, sweet, and with vanilla finish, with a predominance of floral, citrus, and vanilla notes. The nose is soft, elegant, full of heather honey aromas with a hint of spice, while the palate maintains well balanced, subtle flavors with tones of milk chocolate, red apple, and vanilla. The body is rounded, the character soft, sweet, and complex, and the color a light gold, all leading to a sophisticated finish, where the after-taste gives a fresh, floral, and rounded glow.
